Green Mountain Runner: Clean Eating
http://greenmountainrunner.blogspot.com/2011/07/clean-eating.html
Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Nope, not doing it. I am going to go to the gym and I am going to run before the class and I am going to suffer through another painful strenuous pump class. My body will forgive me as it usually does, and I will finally be back in the swing of things. Hopefully this will help my figure as well. I have noticed that the past few months that have been chaotic and I have been skipping my usual gym days I have been getting "softer". I do not enjoy softness! He's a chef, I need tips!

http://sheisoutrunning.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
She Is Out Running: My Road to the New York City Marathon. Thursday, October 30, 2014. I woke up startled even though the alarm never went off. It was still dark outside. Was it morning or night? She hasn't made the bed in weeks. I went to wake up Pete, but he wasn't in bed either. I guess he took her to school early. I just hope he made her lunch. No, it couldn't be because now the sun was up. It was definitely morning. Did I confuse the days? Uh oh, now I'm. Really going to hell. I put on my sneakers a...

I’m settling into the new schedule of running, which includes speed work, recovery runs, and long (slow) runs. Heart rate is a factor in all of them, and I continue to see improvement. Here’s an update on the different types of runs and my experience with them so far. The fall is such a great time of year to run! Seen on my run.

The Slow Progress Runner: September 2013
http://slowprorunner.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
The Slow Progress Runner. This skin and bones is a rental.". Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Each day while I’m out there adhering to the principles of heart rate-based running, I think of new names for it. Previously, I called it patience running. This week, the term “reality running” is ringing true with me. Yes; this slow! So that’s the rationale for “reality running” for me. And so far, so good. I’m trying my best to ignore the pace, and focus upon the fact that after 4...I hope all is well with you!

Early Morning Run: Running Injury: Inflamation of the Popliteus Muscle
http://earlymorningrun.blogspot.com/2015/06/popliteus-muscle-running-injury.html
Sunday, June 28, 2015. Running Injury: Inflamation of the Popliteus Muscle. It really is true that every day we learn something new. One thing I've learned recently is that we have this little muscle in the back of our knee called the popliteus. Even though it's small, hidden, and usually just hangs out and does its thing, when it gets upset, it screams. I wrote a bit about my injury in my first post on our vacation in Vancouver. After being out sick for 15 days. And running another race. Laying it all o...

Early Morning Run: Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park
http://earlymorningrun.blogspot.com/2015/08/hiking-in-rocky-mountain-national-park.html
Sunday, August 2, 2015. Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. When I'm asked what I enjoy most about living in Colorado, my response is "the endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors." More specifically, I've been falling in love with hiking and (when not injured) trail running. This past Saturday we woke up early and headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park - which is celebrating its 100th anniversary - to get a fix of fresh mountain air and get our hearts beating. If you've been to Rocky Mountain ...
