Sunday, June 29, 2008. Yesterday, Lucas and I drove up to Houston to attend the Bayou City Farmer's Market. There was a nice selection of vegetables, meats, honey. Nd some prepared foods. Unfortunately, it took us nearly 45 minutes to get there. I would definitely return, but probably won't make it a weekly drive. In Omaha, my brother lives within walking distance of a weekly farmer's market- hard not to be jealous of that! Below are pictures of what we made it ho. Honey with the comb. Links to this post.

First of all, one big announcement: our family has grown by one tiny member. Lincoln Danger is here! He was welcomed into the world on December 19th at 9:20 pm. We had a great, natural birth experience (notice I say great, despite the pain! Lincoln is thriving and we can't imagine our lives without him! Ok, four. But this one is food related!

These two were attached at the hip all week. I love their friendship and love for each other. It was a tie between the kayak and the boogie boards for the favorite water toy! I love this one of Poppy and Oskar:. The food all week was great! This night we made kabobs and corn on the cob all on the grill. So good! Such an amazing vacation!
