The Charming Life of The Chessher's. Wednesday, July 18, 2012. We celebrated 4th of July this year by staying close to home since both Scott and I had to work the day before and day after (darn holiday landed on a Weds. this year! So, no fun time at the lake for us! However, we did have a get-together w/our Playgroup (we meet with each Friday w/the mommy's and babies) and, this time, the daddy's were included! It was fun to have all of our families together to celebrate the USA! July 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM.

The Charming Life of The Chessher's. Friday, April 23, 2010. I have a heavy heart today - just knowing a lot of people, who I care for deeply, are in need of prayer and God's guidance. A friend, and her newborn babies, in the hospital; a friend whose dad just passed away; a newly married couple and their growing pains; my own life and the complexities and emotional toll of trying to have a baby; etc. I rejoice in the plan God has for EACH. The one I received today did just that and I. I love you all!

The Charming Life of The Chessher's. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Yesterday was our 37-week appt and we found out that our little baby blessing has no plan on joining us soon, at least this week! Nothing is progressing thus far, so Hattie Claire, or Stone Thomas, must want to bake a bit longer! That's quite alright for this mama and daddy, even though mama is starting to feel more and more uncomfortable each day! The countdown is definitely on and we are so ready to meet our daughter or son!

The Charming Life of The Chessher's. Friday, May 7, 2010. 10th Annual Randy Ride. Last weekend was the 10th Annual Randy Ride! Each spring, a group of us get together to honor the memory of Scott's late Uncle Randy Chessher. He loved riding his Harley, so what better way to remember him than with annual motorcycle rides during one of the prettiest times of year here in Texas! We stayed in cabins on the Frio River, in Leakey, and even braved the cold water on Friday after a hot ride! We rode to Bandera!
