http://confessionsofafoodieintraining.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Confessions of a Foodie In Training. Thursday, June 3, 2010. This is my definition of a southern comfort meal! 160; The only way it could get MORE southern is by catching the catfish myself.and lets be honest, who really does that? 160; The mac and cheese is one of my daughters favorites (as you can see by her rating below).  And it would be mine too if I had the kids metabolism.  The catfish is cooked exactly like you would expect, corn meal crusted and fried! Wednesday, June 2, 2010. So instead of both...

Confessions of a Foodie In Training. Sunday, September 26, 2010. Bacon Grilled Cheese and Tomato Basil Soup. Its Sunday and that means football and soup in our household.its a tradition. I was in the mood for a different kind of soup than our regulars.  Tomato Basil sounded delicious.and with any tomato soup, grilled cheese must also be present.  Since the soup is so simple I wanted to pump up the taste in the grilled cheese.  I will guarantee you will LOVE this sandwich! Me: Better than your grandmas?

Confessions of a Foodie

Friday, March 2, 2018. Soyrizo Bean Sopes { #Lenten #Recipe }. Have you ever had sopes from your local taco shop? They’re a thick tortilla, anywhere from a 1/4-inch to 3/8-inch thickness, with a crispy outside and a soft middle. These babies are then smeared with a good portion of refried beans and are topped with shredded beef or chicken or any number of guisados (stewed meats or vegetables). Did you know they’re super easy to make at home? I'm tired already thinking about it! As for the video, I'm stil...

When it comes to finding a decent cup of coffee in Japan, as the saying goes, there’s some good news and some bad news. The good is you can get amazing coffee big cities, like Tokyo and Kyoto. The bad - you will usually have to wait til at least 10 am (often midday or even later) for your first hit. Finding that first meal of the day can be challenge for travellers. You don't have to deal with the necessities(the pains) that come with eating at a sit down place. All the fake smiles and the acknowledgements! Just get there, take your food and get the hell out! You dont even have. And all the complications of calculating them.that takes away a lot of my scanty clever points). As it turn...
