年,得益于工业和服务业以及发展中的旅游业，桑给巴尔GDP增长率达7%，年人均收入增长了12.1%，从1384000坦先令 折合866美元 到1552000坦先令 折合939美元 ，2015年的目标是在此基础上人均再增加884000坦先令。 金融服务、畜牧业、保险业和建筑业，2015年第一、二季度GDP增长分别为6.1%和7.%，2015年通胀率缓慢增长，从2014年5.6%至2015年的5.7%。 投资:2015年审批了共31个项目，投资总额为3.16亿美元，这些项目中，大部分旅游相关项目预计可提供岗位2500个 2014年7月，随着大型奶制品厂的建成和投产，风巴经济特区(Fumba Special Economic Zone)也因此拉开了序幕。 除奶制品厂外，经济特区内还包括其他项目 1.拉通特区的公路网的修建，路宽分别达15米，30米，主要公路则宽达60米 2.2016年2月将开建650幢房子;3.将建一个小型旅游港口和国际化商业和会议中心。 工业:2015年，工业产出价值1.36千亿先令，比2014年的1.289千亿先令增长了5.51%。
