Bedrock Runs: Motivation
http://bedrockruns.blogspot.com/2010/01/motivation.html
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." -John Muir. Tuesday, January 5, 2010. My most crushing DNF was at Ironman Austria in 2003. I was ashamed of it for a long time and then started wearing the race polo shirt once a week for a month so people would ask me about it and Id have to answer, No, I dropped out. Somehow, it helped motivate me and pull me out of the funk. Good luck and happy training! January 5, 2010 at 2:42 PM. I love that photo! January 7, 2010 at 2:37 PM.

Straggling Irregulars: October 2009

Saturday, October 10, 2009. Back on the Trail Again. At last, after a busy summer and Michelle's long, long, long, painfully long convalescence we finally made it out to the Greenway! It was a wonderful fall morning - just the right temperature and a little drizzle toward the end. So much fun running and catching up. After several months away, there are some surprises on the Greenway: a new bridge here, some trail rerouting there. But still the lovely trail we know and love so well.
