Turning Japanese.. Again

Turning Japanese. Again. If only I thought so. Friday, February 06, 2004. Day 5: Bye Bye. Finally, after remerging at 9am we ate some breakfast and went for a walk around the Shinjuku areas which we were staying. Fascinatingly enough stores seemed to open up at 10am, which is odd as we're all used to things being open before we're awake. With detachable face masks, some ' Bad News Bears. And the famous Studio Alta. We arrived at the airport about a half-an-hour sooner than we though. Which gave us am...

Turning Japanese.. Again: Day 4: Tochomae

http://turningjapaneseagain.halfpastzen.com/2004/02/day-4-tochomae.html

Turning Japanese. Again. If only I thought so. Thursday, February 05, 2004. Thursday was again, no different, to begin with. Breakfast at the same time, then we headed off to Ebisu to a hotel to meet our contact for the day to go off to yet another datacenter, we took a cab to this location which ended up costing us about 70 bucks split between the two taxi's that we took (good plan there, not) we then went through the building and took a tour. Place, sushi on plates. I got a good shot of Chu-ken Hachiko.

Turning Japanese.. Again: Day 2: Fried Fun Adventure

http://turningjapaneseagain.halfpastzen.com/2004/02/day-2-fried-fun-adventure.html

Turning Japanese. Again. If only I thought so. Tuesday, February 03, 2004. Day 2: Fried Fun Adventure. Tuesday the day began at 8am, the view. Of the city from my window was a welcome sight. Then to breakfast in the 'Regency Club', which was pretty good. We then got on a train. Bound for the local building, after arriving and struggling with finding the building we sat through some 9 hours of a single meeting, learning some good stuff indeed. There were some interesting. http://turningjapaneseagain.halfpastzen.com/2004/02/day-3-tourist.html

Turning Japanese. Again. If only I thought so. Wednesday, February 04, 2004. Wednesday the day began in almost the same way, 8am in the club for breakfast, on the train by 9:30 out to the local building where we met our contact for the day to be taken around to see some datacenters. We had time to kill. However if you turn around you can see this. Had a helipad on the top, not to mention a great view. Of the city. Good pictures. Where I spotted some Fugu. In the tank (Fugu is blowfish, deadly sushi).

Turning Japanese.. Again: Day 1: Back in Tokyo

http://turningjapaneseagain.halfpastzen.com/2004/02/day-1-back-in-tokyo.html

Turning Japanese. Again. If only I thought so. Monday, February 02, 2004. Day 1: Back in Tokyo. Monday we arrive at 3:30pm. The regular bus-bus-a-go-go, and short four hours later we arrive at the hotel. Around 7pm). Now, it wasn't that there were a lot of delays, but the travel time was just that. We got our luggage fairly early, through customs and on to the train with only a short amount of delay. Off the train and on to the shuttle bus. Crossing the street we ascend 52 stories.

Training Times for Racing Days | Everyday Is Race Day

Training Times for Racing Days. Everyday Is Race Day. My top three coolest things I did, saw or discovered. Bull;May 31, 2010 • 1 Comment. As you all know I am an eating enthusiast and let me tell you, from the soup cups at the seven eleven, to the cheap ramen noodle diners and of course the numerous sushi/sashimi/tempura/grilled fish feasts that where had, all where amazing. I have never had such great meal streak. I stuffed my face almost at every meal and was never disappointed. Posted in Adventure of...

Maybe, I think so. Monday, November 10, 2003. Sucks To Be Me. But alas, it was not meant to be. I was informed that while my skills and experiences are impressive that I just wasn't going to work out in the position. I suspect that it was the second-to-last interview that I had, as it was the only one that didn't go very well. However, I recognize that I didn't give 110%, more like 70%. My apprehension about the endeavor ultimately doomed it. Posted by Melkir @ 9:22 AM. Friday, November 07, 2003. I’m sit...

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. What is the best Museum to visit in Tokyo? If you visit only one Museum in Tokyo then shame on you. But if your bucket list is so long, or your stay is so short that you have to reduce the entire 1452 museums in Tokyo to just one then make sure you visit the Edo-Tokyo Museum. I'm not talking about headsets, or a booklet from which you can make your own way around the place, but a person who will actually take you around the Museum. Nakamura-san: And can you see that little area...

Anime, manga, and general Japanese craziness. Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Introducing."Butthurt Anime Fan! I watched this College humor video this morning, and I had to share. First of all, I patted myself on the back for getting the references. Third, I honestly think that some fandom communities can get a little ridiculous when it comes to excluding potential fans. Last year, Cracked had an article about fandoms that hate their own members. 1) Subs are good for when you're watching shows online that are...
