A Hong Kong, I go go. Wednesday, September 15, 2004. Day 3: Lantau, Kowloon, and Stuff. I took at taxi to the Pier where I boarded the ferry. Bound for Lantau Island. Lantau is where the big Buddha statue and Po Lin monastery are located. The ferry ride must have taken somewhere between thirty and four minutes, but it was somewhat entertaining. Two things that I noticed while on this trip, the first is that ' The Fog. And fog. This perpetual haze also makes it crap for taking pictures, absolute crap.

It has a camera, video, Bluetooth, RFID, and all kinds of wacky stuff. It’s a very cool camera. So I picked it up, on the other hand camera prices were more than I expected and I could get the stuff cheaper in the US so I decided to wait. A Hong Kong, I go go. Wednesday, September 15, 2004. Day 3: The Peak. I decided that instead of going back to Kowloon for the Night Market that I would just stay on Hong Kong Island and go up to the Peak and grab some more tourist pictures. This experience begins with the 'Peak Tram'. It also serves as the observation point. I misread as a mistake, but then got it. I felt okay after leaving the restaurant. With the exception of Pavarotti, who was the same from Vegas. I took a bunch. I think I got good.

Oh, and a carton of orange juice, and like the milk cartons it doesn’t open and I have to pry open the maw to receive my citrus reward. My bag also contained a dire warning about survival. Also, the credit card accepting pop machine! It doesn’t get more exciting than this in the Sea-Tac Airport. I was going to spend the time reading about coping with long flights, but I guess not.
