i'm just saying....: September 2009
http://lizbrashear.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Well, this little recap is overdue, but forgive me for being a bit behind after having witnessed in person the sad, second loss in a row by my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite the loss, attending the game was really one of the best experiences I've ever had! And it was fun being there with my Dad and siblings, despite the fact that my brother wore a repulsive Bengals' shirt. There is nothing like watching a game that close-so exciting! Thanks to the Dog Whisperer aka Steve.

Paint yourself into my life. June 23, 2013. I recently received snail mail from one of my good friends Amanda Harris. She was a huge part of my journey towards Christ Freshman year. In her letter to me she wrote, “I am sorry to hear that you are missing Christian companionship. I felt the same way in Guatemala. It is hard to be on your own. In an unknown place. Maybe I just love doing my own thing but not so much doing it alone? So I started looking into my past, why am I this way? I have found joy.

How can I possibly pick one thing that I have too much of? I have too much of everything. I don’t think I have thrown a single thing away for years. I have had the same size clothes since 4. Grade I justify buying more things because I buy them at garage sales and thrift stores. If there is one thing I have too much of- it is identities, masks, really. Who am I when I’m not entertaining someone else? Who am I when I’m not dressing for a particular party? Is it spurring anyone else to change? It’s disgust...
