The course was on beautiful coastal trails in Marin on the headlands just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Chilly to start, but as you can see it didn't keep the die-hard surfers away. Life in Salt Lake.and beyond. Friday, May 8, 2009. Corson boys hit the White Rim Trail. The advance team (Tom and I) arrived a day early to organize for the trip. Tom and I slept out at the tent in Castle Valley and tested out Duncan's mattress. Tom and I hiked along the Flat Pass/Steelbender trail and witnessed this bizarre natural phenomenon. One cloud was a vivid rainbow color! Stayed like that for a good 10-15 minutes. I guess that's what its like to use hallucinogens. Corson boys on the White Rim.
