http://laissez-fairelacticacid.blogspot.com/2007/08/greater-cleveland-triathlon-feeling.html
Lactic Acid From The Left. Insight and nonsense as it pertains to my life. Friday, August 17, 2007. Greater Cleveland Triathlon (feeling good). Then, arose a burning in my stomach. Maybe we could call it nausea. The sensation radiated from my stomach out towards my limbs and relocated a strong sensation of warmth on my forehead. Uh no! I thought. I am .1 mile into this race and I already feel like puking. Maybe it was the banana I ate about 1 hour before the start of the race? And why so soon? One which ...

Lactic Acid From The Left. Insight and nonsense as it pertains to my life. Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Greater Cleveland Triathlon (the anticipation was torture). I used the extra time to stretch and go over my list of what to bring again (and again, etc.). At 4:00 I hit the road with Amaterasu on the roof. I arrived at Headlands Beach State Park. At 4:50 (thanks to Craig. For the pic above), and saw a parking lot full of maybe 2 other athletes. Ask Treetop and J. Labels: Greater Cleveland Triathlon.

Lactic Acid From The Left. Insight and nonsense as it pertains to my life. Saturday, March 01, 2008. Since I was tagged by TriGuyJT. To name 7 random things about me a while back, this is a little bit overdue. 1) If I have a nasty wound, I may very well end up with a nasty scar. I often form what are called hypertrophic scars. If you see a tall skinny man with a scar on his right shoulder @ your next triathlon, say "hi.". 2) I'm not sure if there is any food that I don't like (excluding frankenfoods.

Lactic Acid From The Left. Insight and nonsense as it pertains to my life. Thursday, January 31, 2008. Day 12.no training. I have to say that although losing 2 weeks of training sucks, I am glad that I have been able to rekindle the fire that I have for environmental and social justice issues. So, if you live in Ohio and you are a treehugger too, you can go here to show support for renewable energy in Ohio. You might recall the urban farm project I worked on last semester? Are you a Bioneer. I first noti...

Lactic Acid From The Left. Insight and nonsense as it pertains to my life. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. I haven't had much time for blogging lately. Between work, school, training, and some volunteer work I've had time for little else. I usually try and squeeze blogging in somehow, and before I seemed to run out of time for it I was planning on making some changes around here. Maybe spiff things up a bit? Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Lactic Acid From The Left. Insight and nonsense as it pertains to my life. Sunday, March 09, 2008. For fear I'd be visiting my rat friend. But I wanted to try the Irish oats. after all, it was the Shamrock 15K. So, after the Irish oats, a shower, and some reading it was time to head to the race. I stepped outside into the snow covered landscape, feeling a bit like I was entering into some sort of fantasy land that consisted of exploded marshmallow goo (I know you all remember ghostbusters). I saw one or ...

Lactic Acid From The Left: Spring?
http://laissez-fairelacticacid.blogspot.com/2008/04/spring.html
Lactic Acid From The Left. Insight and nonsense as it pertains to my life. Tuesday, April 01, 2008. It is a whopping 60 degrees outside and I'm thinkin' I just might stop off for a little trail run on my way up to downtown this afternoon. I'm finding the trail very alluring this spring and enjoyed the warm temps and sloppy conditions on Sunday. My shoes are caked in mud. I'm wondering if I should have hosed them off or something instead of just leaving the mud to dry? I say "off with its head"! Jk I hope...
