37 Weeks: Still Pregnant. Asymp; 15 Comments. As of Wednesday’s growth scan both babies are estimated at just over 5 lbs each and had dropped to the 13. Percentile for growth, which the MFM assured me was still ok for twins. I hope and pray they are really at least 5 lbs each as growth scans are very unreliable and we need them to be at least 5 lbs to leave without NICU time. 154 / 42 lbs gained to date / 8 lbs from last week thanks to all the water retention and swelling. Our journey was long and hard and filled with heartbreak but I’d gladly endure it all over again to meet these two and be their mother. Thursday, June 30, 2011. The girls' hearing is definitely improving (not that it was bad before). How can I tell? Our street is under construction. They've torn it to shreds and are pouring new concrete. You can't see the work from our house, but you can definitely hear it. Every time it gets a bit loud Ada and Evie start looking around for where the noise was coming from. I suppose now we have to be careful what we say even when they're not in the room! Ada recently learned a new trick from her sister.
