Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: August 2004
http://claudia-assorted.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Monday, August 30, 2004. A Case of the Mondays. After a nice weekend that included a last minute invite to Keith and Amber to join us for dinner Saturday, I am back at work. At least there is a long weekend on the horizon. As summer moves into its fifth month, the heat and sun are starting to wear me out. As a judge rules that state laws require voting methods to be recountable. Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: December 2004
http://claudia-assorted.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Friday, December 31, 2004. So, it's New Year's Eve. I'm doing laundry for the trip tomorrow, getting my house cleaned up for the gathering tonight, and trying to decide whether it's worth thinking about the year gone by. Mostly, I think it's better to think about the year ahead. So, what to do about it? Make resolutions for next year, of course. 1 Get back to a routine at the gym, four days a week, every week. 2 Revive my yoga practice. Sure, let's go!

Thursday, April 29, 2004. Hooray, hooray. The appraisal on the new house came in at exactly what we had already agreed to pay for it. Excellent. Why am I so excited? Because that was the last potential stumbling block in buying our new house. Had it come in significantly lower than our offered purchase price, we would have had to renegotiate with sellers that aren't particularly intelligent. That could have gotten ugly. Guess what I found in my wallet this week? Posted by Brian at 2:29 PM. Well, we packe...

Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: Gardening Is Fun
http://claudia-assorted.blogspot.com/2009/11/gardening-is-fun.html
Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Sunday, November 08, 2009. Originally uploaded by generalizeddice. So this Saturday Jon joined me and Fiona on our weekly trip to the garden. Something's been nibbling at the bok choy, which are now *enormous*, but we couldn't find the bug. There was one on my lettuces so I squished him. That's mostly what we're doing in the garden these days: collecting greens and squishing interlopers. And, as you can see, having a good time. Posted by Claudia @ 10:29 AM.

Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: Tomato, Tomahto

Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Monday, May 03, 2010. Originally uploaded by ClaudiaBowman. The garden is doing great as we move into summer. The fava bean stalks were beginning to droop and brown, so we harvested the last of the beans and pulled out the plants. We added some more peppers in their place. We now have three bell pepper and eight hot pepper plants. We'll see what sort of yield we get! Posted by Claudia @ 9:31 AM. View my complete profile. Books Read Last Year (2008).

The tooth fairy decided I deserved a copy of American Idiot. Which may be the only album I've seen cost less in stores than on iTunes. Good stuff. I hope to be back to my regular routine soon. Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: June 2004
http://claudia-assorted.blogspot.com/2004_06_01_archive.html
Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Wednesday, June 30, 2004. We have been experiencing summer for some time now out here. Our poor outdoor veggies are hibernating until fall cools things off. We've had a little rain, but the monsoons have not yet arrived. This is our second summer here, and I'm surprised at how well I've adapted since last year. I think DC's muggy 90s next week will be worse, actually. Posted by Claudia @ 1:35 PM. Saturday, June 26, 2004. Said it better than me. Hopefully, t...
