The Dead Money Chronicles: April 2005

The Dead Money Chronicles. Tuesday, April 26, 2005. Draft Revisited and Random Tuesday Link Goodness (Or Jon Gripes About the Saints Again, and Avoids Grading with a Blog Post). Why then the bitching? Because they’ve gone and drafted Aaron Brooks junior! 3 On the other hand, I thought that Arizona had the best draft followed closely by Dallas and Minnesota. Arizona really seems to have turned a corner, and if Kurt Warner can give them any type of consistent play at QB this year, I think they can real...

Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: Gardening Is Fun
http://claudia-assorted.blogspot.com/2009/11/gardening-is-fun.html
Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Sunday, November 08, 2009. Originally uploaded by generalizeddice. So this Saturday Jon joined me and Fiona on our weekly trip to the garden. Something's been nibbling at the bok choy, which are now *enormous*, but we couldn't find the bug. There was one on my lettuces so I squished him. That's mostly what we're doing in the garden these days: collecting greens and squishing interlopers. And, as you can see, having a good time. Posted by Claudia @ 10:29 AM.

Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: Tomato, Tomahto

Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Monday, May 03, 2010. Originally uploaded by ClaudiaBowman. The garden is doing great as we move into summer. The fava bean stalks were beginning to droop and brown, so we harvested the last of the beans and pulled out the plants. We added some more peppers in their place. We now have three bell pepper and eight hot pepper plants. We'll see what sort of yield we get! Posted by Claudia @ 9:31 AM. View my complete profile. Books Read Last Year (2008).

The tooth fairy decided I deserved a copy of American Idiot. Which may be the only album I've seen cost less in stores than on iTunes. Good stuff. I hope to be back to my regular routine soon. Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts: June 2004
http://claudia-assorted.blogspot.com/2004_06_01_archive.html
Claudia's Garden Journal and Assorted Thoughts. Wednesday, June 30, 2004. We have been experiencing summer for some time now out here. Our poor outdoor veggies are hibernating until fall cools things off. We've had a little rain, but the monsoons have not yet arrived. This is our second summer here, and I'm surprised at how well I've adapted since last year. I think DC's muggy 90s next week will be worse, actually. Posted by Claudia @ 1:35 PM. Saturday, June 26, 2004. Said it better than me. Hopefully, t...

Sunday's take: One bag of mixed lettuces, one bag bok choy, one bag collards. I'm finding that bok choy is also really good just raw in a salad. Throw in some clementines and a ginger-soy dressing and you're in good shape. Posted by Claudia @ 12:32 PM. View my complete profile. Books Read Last Year (2008). Becoming a Garden Journal Again.

The Dead Money Chronicles: Impending Fatherhood, Conferences, Animatronics, Beer, and Baseball

The Dead Money Chronicles. Saturday, February 18, 2006. Impending Fatherhood, Conferences, Animatronics, Beer, and Baseball. Wow, almost 6 weeks between updates. That sucks for even me. On the off chance that anyone’s still reading this, I’ll actually write something. Here are the major (and not so major) developments since a long time ago. 2 I just got back from a forecasting conference (organized by the IIF. The entertainment provided by this establishment. Not Big Daddy’s, pervert.) I know it soun...
