Waking Life: September 2009

http://jwolt.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 13, 2009. A while ago I mentioned that I was making a baby carrier. Well, I realized I never posted any photos, and now I've made two! After making the first one I had to make a few pattern adjustments, and I think the second one came out much nicer (although you probably won't be able to tell anything from the pictures). You can use these from birth up to about 35lbs (if you can carry 35lbs! This is one that someone asked me to make for them. With the hood down. Toby going for a ride!

Friday, January 29, 2010. This was her absolute highlight of Christmas! 5 Kevin begged and begged so much for a cover for his air compressor (in the garage) long after I decided to make him one, that I appliqued a pink heart on it as a joke! I'll try and put some updated photos on soon. This month has been a good break after the rush of the holidays. Be warm, wherever you are! Friday, January 01, 2010. Here are some pictures from 2009. The Turner Family: January 2009

http://thealabamaturners.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 6, 2009. Merry Christmas from all those Chambley children! As you can see, our baby boy was so excited about Christmas! Alas, despite everyone buying Brantley many wonderful presents, in the end the paper was his favorite toy. I wish Brantley had a bibb that big; there might be a chance that we kept him semi-clean during feedin' time. Brantley has recently discovered that it is a joy to produce a post-prandial hotmess. However, his day only goes until about 9:30 before needed a big nap.

The Turner Family: Beach

http://thealabamaturners.blogspot.com/2009/06/beach.html

Sunday, June 14, 2009. Sorry, we have been bad bloggers. These are pics from our vacation that occurred in late May* Please forgive the poor blog etiquette. We are from Valley, remember. Ladies, don't fear. I am seeing over these sands and no one is getting hurt on my watch. Eat your heart out Hassellhoff! So while Brantley patrolled the shores, he wanted nothing to do with the water. Brantley found that the Splash Pad was much more fun and less hassle than going to the ocean. Sand is over-rated.

Waking Life: September 2010

http://jwolt.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 08, 2010. I have been contemplating for some time about whether to continue this blog. It was begun as a means to communicate with family that does not live in town, and that has been the only reason I have kept up with it for so long. In order to be more available to my family and on the computer less, I have decided to discontinue blogging. GASP! For now, anyway. Instead I hope to send out emails with pictures a few times a year (maybe quarterly? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, September 26, 2009. Don't call it a comeback. We have fallen down on our blogging duties. Here are a few pictures of "events" over the last month. We kept the Booth Bunch recently. We learned the meaning of zone defense (Nickel package). Above: We had a movie night in the Park. We tried to watch Wall-E, but Brantley wanted to investigate other patrons' plastic cups. Below: Maximal bathtime efficiency. Turner bath policy: Bows remain on at all times. Mo's 3rd birthday party. Let me just tell you...
