This is a blessing because I have a new appreciation for our country’s beautiful architecture, a curse because I can’t look at beautiful modern houses like a normal person – I’m an historic house snob. I taught middle school kids who had been kicked out of public school, many of whom were on probation or house arrest – it was my first full-time teaching job. My husband had just left on September 7th for his first ever deployment to the Middle East. Nick was 2 years old and in daycare on base. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.
