Thursday, July 15, 2010. These are the activities that I chose from P.E. Central. 3 Tree Dancin’. You will only need a group of kids, and Tickle Tune Typhoon CD "Circle Around" (Tree Dancin' Song). Demonstrate to your students the yoga “tree” position that helps build balance. Then, have your kids listen to the music, and dance swaying their “branches” (arms). When the music stops have them find “tree” pose to practice adequate balance! This is great for K-3 and a wonderful instant activity at any time.

Set up a large area (depending on the number of students) with boundaries marked by cones. Scatter the bean bags throughout the area. Place one hula hoop on the outside of each edge of the boundaries. Red Light, Green Light Dribble. 1 basketball or playground ball per student, floor tape, and cones.
