Thursday, December 4, 2014. My sister, Hillary, needed pictures for a calendar she was making for my mom and dad. I realized that she didn't have any pictures of me. Yikes! She needed them that night so Matthew, who is a budding photographer, did his best with what he had to work with.a tired, unshowered Mother! I Love My Family! Andy and Ellen Family. The Crazy Eight: February 2014

Thursday, February 6, 2014. We had an unexpected snow day here in Vancouver. It was so bad that the school called to have me come and pick up the kids because our city is unequipped to handle this much snow. Sam and Ben were so excited to get out in the snow and play but they didn't last very long since they are not used to it. It was fun while it lasted though and my kids were great helping the neighbors shovel their walks. Andy and Ellen Family. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Speck on the world.

The Crazy Eight: April 2014

Friday, April 25, 2014. Our ward does an annual cake auction as a fund raiser for our youth and we love to bake cakes! This year Timmy made a cake and called it "Dad on a motorcycle". Andy and I made "Olaf". I thought he turned out cute but he was a lot of work. When we got him to the church he started melting because there were so many people in the room it was too warm for the cake! It was very fitting for a snowman cake, especially Olaf! My Speck on the World. Thursday, November 27, 2014. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Callahan Clan this year. We ate a lot of wonderful turkey. Tons of great treats. Plus lots of good laughs. Thanks Alice and Dion for hosting a great meal. Some people ate maybe to much sugar. Other the perfect amount. I set a goal to run 5, 5K's in one year and today I met my goal. Alice and I were a little goofy before the race and I may have sang a song or two out loud while we ran. Now on to the next one.
