Thursday, March 29, 2007. Why is it usually about the swim with me? As I look back at my posts over the last few months, I see a trend towards talking most about my swimming progress. The weather is improving slowly here and I hope to make my second bike ride outside this Saturday morning. I have a 3-hour ride and 40-minute brick run on the schedule. I also have a baby shower at 1 PM, so time management will be crucial. Hey, life isn't all about triathlon, so you gots to fit it in. Tuesday, March 27, 2007.

Thursday, May 31, 2007. Newer, cuter Jen. My good friend Suzi had her first child this past Friday, a little girl named Jennifer Grace. Here's a picture. Monday, May 16, 2011. Seriously, a post finally! My blogger ethic has gone somewhere apparently. Well, I'm still training for the Racing for Recovery half-Ironman which is in (gulp) less than 3 weeks. I had a minor setback in training where I was off working out for nearly 2 weeks due to illness right in the middle of my training plan. Sunday, November 07, 2010. Stomp the Grapes half-marathon. Yesterday, I ran the Stomp the Grapes half-marathon. While my training has been half-baked at best, I seem to be running a lot faster than I did pre-baby. So, 7 months post-baby, I attempted to best my PR of 2:02:41 set back at the Cleveland half-marathon in May 2007. Luckily for me, Bridget said she would pace me.
