Semester complete | Foodnook

https://foodnook.wordpress.com/2012/12/13/semester-complete

A cozy corner of food, fitness, and life. I’m headed home today for about 8 weeks for my winter break so just popping in to say hi! With another semester under my belt, it’s a bittersweet feeling but I’m ready to enjoy a nice break before starting my final semester. Snacks for the road today: apples, oranges, a little bit of chocolate, half of a sub from last nights dinner and trying a green smoothie. I like to have lots of variety and choices in the road! Have a great day! Next post →. A Cup of Jo.

WIAW: Plenty to Eat | Foodnook

https://foodnook.wordpress.com/2012/12/05/wiaw-plenty-to-eat

A cozy corner of food, fitness, and life. WIAW: Plenty to Eat. How’s your week going? Mine has seem to drag on so far but today’s my last day of class and all of the studying hasn’t been helping the week pass quickly. Monday wasn’t quite as busy as usual but I did have an evening exam so it was nice to have a bit of extra time to study. Don’t worry, there was plenty of procrastination in there too😉. Thanks again to Jenn. I also had an apple and a handful of goldfish as a mid morning snack. Happy WIAW an...

Eat, Live, Run. October 19, 2011. I returned from our camping trip. On Monday craving water and vegetables. I certainly don’t mean to whine and boast that “I survived off nothing but peanut butter and hot dogs”, when in reality it was exactly the opposite. I survived our camping trip off of red wine and rich food. Naturally, it was all delicious but as I finished the last buttery crumb of my ginger scone from a Big Sur Bakery. Run early Monday morning (worth every bite by the way! Make a believer out you!

Food Noob Chronicles | Learning more about food everyday.

Learning more about food everyday. Kinda Like a Rice Crispy Treat. Posted by Food Noob Chronicles. Asymp; Leave a comment. Recipe from Allrecipes.com. The first step is to melt down the bag of butterscotch chips in a stock pot over medium-high heat. The recipe doesn’t call for this, but because I was afraid of burning them, I melted some butter first before throwing the butterscotch chips in the pan. Making haystacks was really easy, and I was surprised at how awesome it tasted! Asymp; Leave a comment.
