Ramblings From a Librarian Assistant: Help, Please! *Update*
http://ramblinglibrarianassistant.blogspot.com/2007/10/help-please.html
Thursday, October 11, 2007. Ok, so I'm on Flickr, I have a screen name (Amy.Liz) and I have 6 photos posted. Why, when I go to search for people and I put my screen name in, do I not show up? Did I forget to do something? Does Flickr hate me? I have added Sara and Mandy as my interesting contacts and I posted a (not very interesting) comment on one of Mandy's photos (the race to find it starts now! PS Blogger finally stopped arguing with me and posted my Bellagio ceiling picture. Double hoorah! No Really...

Making a Fuss: November 2007
http://namethisblogyo.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Google Reader Changed My Life. Back in the spring of 2006, I set up a Bloglines. Account as part of my Computer-Based Information Tools class (read: time and money down the drain with no graduate credit to show for all my work, but at least I learned a few things class). At the time I thought it was a good idea, but not terribly useful for me because there weren't too many blogs or news sites that I cared to keep up with. The Common Craft Show. Says, "It's like Netflix. I must ...

Making a Fuss: October 2007
http://namethisblogyo.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 18, 2007. This is the thing that never ends. Thing #3: Post a comment on an ACPL blog. Well, it would be if there weren't so many interesting blogs, and comments on those blogs that lead to other blogs, and links in those blogs that lead to even more blogs, and.you get the picture. So now that I've read 'round the never ending circle of blogs, here are thoughts on a few that I found most engaging. Ms Dianna's Kid's Programs. Ramblings of a Librarian Assistant. Here's an example of the b...

North Family Adventures: Professional Photos
http://mnorth73.blogspot.com/2012/02/professional-photos.html
An Inside Look at the Daily Insanity. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. About one month ago, we went to have our pictures done. It had been over one year since we have had our pictures done. I was so good about getting Kaelyn's pictures every three months, but poor Gretchen and Sophie have not been so lucky. I am really trying to be better about this! Here are a few of the newest photos. We had the girls pose individually . . . Of course, we posed as a family . . . Just Mommy and the girls . . .

North Family Adventures: Wrong on So Many Levels
http://mnorth73.blogspot.com/2012/02/wrong-on-so-many-levels.html
An Inside Look at the Daily Insanity. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Wrong on So Many Levels. A couple of days ago, Kaelyn and I were talking about the candy cigarettes that we use to buy when we were kids. She wanted to get some just to see what they were like. I told her that I didn't think anyone sold them anymore. However, when I was at the gas station yesterday, I actually found some bubble gum cigarettes. Of course, I had to buy them for Kaelyn. Posted by Brian, Melanie, Kaelyn, Gretchen, and Sophie.

North Family Adventures: Valentine's Day
http://mnorth73.blogspot.com/2012/02/valentines-day.html
An Inside Look at the Daily Insanity. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Happy Valentine's Day from The North Girls! The girls started their day by playing with their gifts from the Valentine Fairy. She brought Kaelyn new Lalaloopsy dolls, a new dolly for Gretchen, and a new Laugh and Learn puzzle for Sophie. We finished our day with heart-shaped pizza for dinner. Sunday night, we had dinner at Nana and Grandpa's house. Kaelyn decorated a cake complete with a frosting heart just for Valentine's Day.

North Family Adventures: November 2011
http://mnorth73.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
An Inside Look at the Daily Insanity. Monday, November 28, 2011. It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas. With Thanksgiving over, it is time to start decorating for Christmas. So, Brian went up into the attic and brought down all of our Christmas decorations. While Kaelyn was at school and Gretchen and Sophie were napping, I managed to get everything out and placed around the house. I got the fireplace mantel decorated and the Christmas tree up, fanned out, and lighted. You might be wondering where S...

North Family Adventures: Pig Tails
http://mnorth73.blogspot.com/2012/02/pig-tails.html
An Inside Look at the Daily Insanity. Monday, February 20, 2012. Sophie finally has enough hair to put up in pig tails! They are little, and, may I say, pretty cute, but they are pig tails nonetheless. We have had her hair in quasi-pig tails before, using just the front of her hair and letting the back hang long, but this is the first time I have been able to put up all of her hair. With that sweet round face and those big blue eyes, I think she looks absolutely adorable! We'll Always Have Books.
