Ramblings From a Librarian Assistant: Help, Please! *Update*

http://www.ramblinglibrarianassistant.blogspot.com/2007/10/help-please.html

Thursday, October 11, 2007. Ok, so I'm on Flickr, I have a screen name (Amy.Liz) and I have 6 photos posted. Why, when I go to search for people and I put my screen name in, do I not show up? Did I forget to do something? Does Flickr hate me? I have added Sara and Mandy as my interesting contacts and I posted a (not very interesting) comment on one of Mandy's photos (the race to find it starts now! PS Blogger finally stopped arguing with me and posted my Bellagio ceiling picture. Double hoorah! No Really...

Ramblings From a Librarian Assistant: My Own Little Google World

http://www.ramblinglibrarianassistant.blogspot.com/2007/10/my-own-little-google-world.html

Friday, October 5, 2007. My Own Little Google World. Number 5 on this list of learning activities is to explore Google.well, you all know what the 21 points are. I discovered iGoogle about a week ago when I overheard some coworkers talking about it, and I've been hooked ever since. Seriously, this thing is cool. Everything I could ever want is on my homepage! Next up is learning about Flickr, which I have only used to view ACPL's pictures, so it'll be nice to figure out how they actually do that.

Ramblings From a Librarian Assistant: Post Numero Uno

http://www.ramblinglibrarianassistant.blogspot.com/2007/10/post-numero-uno.html

Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Here I am, starting yet another blog. And I can tell myself all I want that this one is going to be different, that I'm really going to write on it regularly, but let's be honest. We know that's never going to happen. But I always like to start blogs optimistically, so let's just say that I hope this one is different. Here's what I hope to accomplish with this blog:. 1) Chronicle my time at ACPL as a Children's Services Librarian Assistant II. 2) Explain what Number 1 means.

Ramblings From a Librarian Assistant: News and Updates

http://www.ramblinglibrarianassistant.blogspot.com/2007/10/news-and-updates.html

Wednesday, October 10, 2007. As a warning, I'm going to have to split this post into several so as not to scare any potential readers off with a 2 page post, so expect at least one more post today (so exciting, I know). If anyone has put two and two together, I have not posted for 4 days, I have not been at work for 4 days, and my Yahoo! What I first wanted to post about, however, was Ellen's baby news! Ok, this post wasn't really that long (I hear your sighs of relief) but I will post again!

Ramblings From a Librarian Assistant: All Consuming Leaves Me Feeling Drained

http://www.ramblinglibrarianassistant.blogspot.com/2007/10/all-consuming-leaves-me-feeling-drained.html

Tuesday, October 16, 2007. All Consuming Leaves Me Feeling Drained. Ok, so I moved on to the next section of Learning 2.0 and hit up All Consuming. What say I? I say - Wishy Washy. I can see how it could be beneficial and somewhat fun, but at the same time, I see it as too much to keep up with. Putting a feed of my consumption on my blog is a fun way to let people know what I am enjoying, but when I see someone asking "What commercial diet should I try next? Thursday, December 27, 2007. I've had a flickr account for quite some time. It's been a good way to share photos with my long distance family without overwhelming their email inbox. Tuesday, October 16, 2007. The First Step is Always the Hardest. http://namethisblogyo.blogspot.com/2007/10/and-winner-is.html

Saturday, October 13, 2007. And the winner is. I received several great suggestions for the title of this blog. As I mentioned, I'm really bad at making decisions, but seeing how this is a donut decision, I'll just choose one and get on with it. So.from this day forward (and thanks to the Opinionated Librarian. This blog shall be know as.
