Using Nylon made a great difference to the time consumption as its way easier to work with than brass or other tougher materials like that! Its very easy to make a mistake on the lathe and if you do you will more than likely have to start again. This is why I took my time making the bushings to try and ensure a high quality finish and tight fitting bushings for my suspension.

As i had already used a set of goalposts as the back for my seat i decided it might be a good idea to try and incorporate a set of goalposts into my handlebars as this would complete the rugby pitch with two sets of goals and rugby field. How would i incorporate goalposts into handlebars though? Here is a completed photo of the goalposts. November 28, 2011.

Then it hit me, a set of goalposts would be a good solution, not only would they act as effective back support but they would also be perfectly in line with the theme. To begin work on the goalposts I cut the lengths of round bar to the same length using the pipe cutters and then cut a crossbar that was a suitable width for the field. I am now in the process of spraying the bike. I firstly applied high build primer before adding the colour in which I wanted for my bike.
