Zakerius, Mayor of Joltsville. Sunday, 31 July 2011. What did science do today #3. Every day is too much to expect really, so it will be an intermittent thing, okay? As part of the research I will be working quite a lot in UCD (the project I work on is jointly funded between UCD, DCU and TCD). For this alignment I went all Art Attack and made a cardboard cut-out of the spectrometer I will be transporting (to make sure I can fit it around other analysis tools which will have to be attached to the chamber).

I will have to go back out again, hopefully will get to soon and will get the data I need to have a good idea of the scale of voltages to expect for a certain amount of transmitted light. Zakerius, Mayor of Joltsville. Friday, 3 December 2010. It's lunchtime somewhere,. Another load of hours skimmed by me, grabbed a few by the shoulders and shook some good work out of them, but I need to get my snatch and grab technique down if I really want to feel like I've been more than just a wonderful procrastinator. I can't seem to write proper fludge posts at all at all, have to eat now anyhow, boiled spuds, diced cherry tomatoes and rocket with some vegetable pesto/pâté. Will be tasty.
