A glimpse into the lives of Maria, Karen, Ben, and Joshua. Sunday, December 30, 2007. Team Hong Kong Newsletter # 4. A Holly Jolly Christmas. December 31, 2007. Christmas in Hong Kong means time to celebrate. We learned this first-hand, as the church, aka our home, was the location of four parties over the span of four days. We happily joined the festivities and were able to meet many new people, learn new games, and of course sample a great variety of new foods. At the Christmas party with Santa Ben.

A glimpse into the lives of Maria, Karen, Ben, and Joshua. Monday, July 14, 2008. Team Hong Kong Newsletter #30. The Final HK Letter. July 14, 2008. We've put hours of planning into this camp, now what? God, what are you trying to teach us? Praise God - through all of our strengths, weaknesses, dreams, and fears - He has placed us on this Hong Kong team, changed us, and allowed us to be His hands and feet! That we would be able to have a wholesome closure to our time in Hong Kong. Starting to say Goodbye.

A glimpse into the lives of Maria, Karen, Ben, and Joshua. Monday, July 7, 2008. Starting to say Goodbye. Team Hong Kong Newsletter # 29. Starting to say Goodbye. July 7, 2008. Our program this past Thursday at a local school went well. Although only a few students came, we had a good time of interaction with them. Wednesday was our last day at Crossroads. It was sad, but we made a lot of good memories there. We are doing a Bible camp this week (Wednesday through Friday) with several kids from the school.

Is that for here or take away? Did you want the vanilla chai or the spiced? We handed out about 800 flyers about an English night we're starting, pray for a good response! Only a few hours after handing out the flyers someone was at the church doors ready to sign up! Monday, February 18, 2008. February 18, 2008.

God hand-designed each one of them and knows them better than they know themselves, and here they are scurrying here and there, with no idea who their Creator is. STEP Team 2007: March 2008
http://step0708.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 29, 2008. One morning last week, we took a 15 minute walk to the park so the children could run around and play. They really look forward to those days to get outside! It is really sad for me to think that their world is so limited to the park and building, but as I think about the life they would have had on the street, I realize that this life is much better. Tuesday, March 25, 2008. I love any reason to celebrate that calls for cake! Second of all, I want to say this team is amazing!

Sunday, March 16, 2008. We did get to visit a facility that is being built outside of the city. This facility will be much nicer for the residents when it is complete, but that could be years based on the fact they just build a little at a time as money comes in to fund the project. We were able to provide some activities for the adults this past week and hope our group can at least bring some light into their lives through the four weeks we are serving. Happy Easter to all of you on the STEP team!
