Miss Matilda vietti viime lauantain pienen, sinisellä liinalla peitetyn myyntipöytänsä takana. Tällä kertaa ei tarvinnut lähteä merta (järveä) edemmäs kalaan, sillä sopivat markkinat järjestettiin ihan kotikodin ovella, Säynätsalon Juurikkasaaressa. Saaristomarkkinoille sattui ihanan auringonpaisteinen päivä, jota sopivasti viilensi järveltä aina ja joka tilanteessa puhaltava tuuli. Kun olin pieni tyttö meillä oli perinteenä, että kun päiväkodista tai koulusta alkoi kesäloma saimme kesän aloittajais lahjan. Se sai olla joku pieni lelu tai karkkia tai jotain muuta pientä. Nyt kun minulla on omia lapsia päätin jatkaa perinnettä omien tyttärieni kanssa.
