The Long Way Home. Monday, November 20, 2006. A Lonely Beach Day. LONELY BEACH, KOH CHANG, THAILAND - CELIAS VIEW. A Lonely Beach Day. Wake up as soon as the light comes through the Bamboo hut cracks. Hot and sticky cause the fan is broken, hungover and sick. Stumble straight to the beach and into bathtub warm water, a beautiful blue colour. Wake up properly, start feeling fantastic, Kisses good morning. Refill our water bottles and head off for adventures. Posted by Bella&Saunders at 7:32 am. When we ar...

The Long Way Home.....: January 2007
http://bellaandsaunders.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
The Long Way Home. Sunday, January 21, 2007. A touch of Class and the return to OZ. It’s no easy journey to get to the Land of Oz from India the land. Everything that you do in India must be done in. A roundabout back the front sort of fashion. Curt calls it the land of opposites. Because you have to think back the front to enjoy it. Therefore I suppose it makes sense that we had to bribe someone to actually be able. But we did it and then suddenly , all too quickly we found ourselves. Posted by Bella&Sa...

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Thursday, 29 March 2007. Buses, Planes and Taxis. We are now in Lima, Peru, after a very long trip up from Puerto Natales. This is how it went - nearly 3 hrs on a bus from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas airport, then a 3 hr wait for our plane. Our plane then went from Punta Arenas to Balmaceda, then to Puerto Montt, then to Santiago. up and down and up and down. Love Sam and Rosie.

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Saturday, 13 October 2007. After travelling around the globe, taking in South and Central America, and the UK, we have finally arrived back in Tassie - albeit a couple of months earlier than planned. It is great to be home, and while some can't wait to leave it, we think Tassie rates pretty high compared to some of the places we've been and have decided there's no place like home.

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Wednesday, 28 February 2007. Originally uploaded by samandrosie. Big Geyser at Rotorua. Sam and Rosie Lundie. We are in Rotorua at the moment, which can be very smelly. Lots of cool thermal activity though! They went right in front of the van, but were quite friendly. At Rotorua we went and checked out the geysers and thermal pools. Also saw a maori show which was excellent. We did go...

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Tuesday, 21 August 2007. Good Old London Town. London by bus, tube and train, good to bad weather, and one big decision. Well, we've now been in the UK for 2 weeks, starting off with some beautiful English summer weather that's now deteriorated to wet and cold weather, that's only a few degrees warmer than the weather back in Tassie! So much for summer. We still don't have a new camer...

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Thursday, 26 April 2007. First of all, let us apologise for the increasingly mixed up state of our flickr photos! We sometimes have a lot of trouble uploading them, and selections vary depending on who uploads them. There are now some older Peru photos from the Ballestas Islands, and a couple from an oasis where we went sandboarding from in Peru also. Sam and Rosie Lundie. They cooked...

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Monday, 13 August 2007. Mexico to the UK! San Cristobel de la Casas, Mexico City and then all the way to London, UK. Since my last post we have been very busy and travelled an extremely LONG way. Yet again it involved more long shitty bus rides, taxis and a plane trip. But it was all worth it in the end. He said he knew where it was and then tried to take us to a large, expensive hote...

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Sunday, 29 July 2007. Cabañas, lizards and one sick Rosie. We have finally made it to Tulum and discovered how majorly expensive it is! The first place which was meant to be sort of like a backpackers with a dive shop, they showed us a crappy cabaña with a cement floor, a bed and mosquito net, way back from the beach with no bathroom for $45 US a night. We nearly fainted! There were a...

Sam and Rosie's Travel Journal. The big trip from Tasmania to New Zealand, South America, Central America, UK and beyond. Wednesday, 30 May 2007. We have left Argentina behind with its wonderful food and wine and have arrived in Foz do Iguazu(Brasil) home of the famous Iguazu falls. Only to find that this place is freezing cold, and the town is setup for summer all the restraunts are open air and there are no heaters to be found. Sam and Rosie Lundie. Monday, 28 May 2007. The Lundies go to Castelli!
