Monday, November 23, 2009. Not My Image: Patrick Endres. I like the image because of the limited color. It primarily consists of tones of gray and blue. The image has excellent depth and most importantly tells a great story of the stark post-glacial landscape. It seems this shot could have been made in almost any year of earth's history, and I like that. I'm looking forward to gleaning what I can from his this winter as we both work as guides on a Cheeseman's Ecology Safaris. Posted by Wild Imagination.

I'm used to some escape, and while I did spend nearly two weeks in Mexico in late November, I was so pre-occupied by preparing for, racing and recovering from the Ironman Triathlon, it hardly seemed to be an escape. This weekend, José Angel Colman, Agata Surma, and Beatriz Abramovich took the ten films we made as a part of the 1925 project and showed them to the filmmakers and their families in KosKuna, an indigenous slum outside of Panama City. I do not like to use anything harsh, and luckily my skin seems to be OK with mild soaps and lotions. If I had to recommend a soap for everyone, I would suggest Yardley Oatmeal Almond Soap.it's gentle, and smells great. It has just the right amount of moisture, and just the right fragrance.
