Stale data in puppet dashboard. At: Jul 24 2012 15:41. I use Puppet Dashboard. As my external node classifier. I would describe Dashboard as being "pretty good." It's not the only ENC out there - and some of the others are highly recommended - but I have gravitated towards it since it is maintained by Puppet Labs rather than a third party. It's certainly got some rough edges, and some missing functionality, but it gets the job done and it's OSS. Rake RAILS ENV=production reports:prune upto=7 unit=day.

Recent versions of MS Exchange finally support the full version of Outlook Web App ("OWA") for non-MS browsers and operating systems. You can now use, e.g., Chrome on Windows or Firefox on Linux. Now as a Linux Chrome user, I was surprised to find that OWA still only worked in "lite" mode for me. Turns out, OWA bases this decision on your user agent string; if you happen to be running Chrome on Linux, you get dumped to the non-AJAX UI.

I ended up choosing the Jiangwayne Performance Pipe III. I now have a phone that’s capable of doing GPS tracking, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to do some speed tests and get a reasonably accurate measurement of how fast the bike can go with the changes I’ve made.
