The Restoration of the. Church of St Thomas à Becket, Warblington. At around 6am on Sunday 16th January 2011 it was found that a fire had broken out in the first front two pews of the church which caused extensive smoke damage before it was extinguished. The blaze destroyed the front two rows of pews but it was the smoke that caused the most problems. The organ has been damaged by fumes, a new pulpit is needed and the entire inside of the church will need redecoration. Read the article in the News HERE.
