Thursday, April 19, 2007. If you ever wondered what does an architecture student look like before a really big deadline, well, you don't have to imagine it anymore! Labels: This was too funny not to put up. For you piker ;). Black Madonna of Montserrat. Procesion, Plaza San Jaume. In front of the cathedral, what was once the Via Augusta still remains as one of the main roads in the old city. You can actually see the enormous boulders from the Roman wall on the sides of that entrance. Just for fun ;).

Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Project I- Phase III. Part three, DONE! Within the group, three new proposals would be developed in terms of the block's building massing, later on focusing on one building, it's physical form and possible impact on the adjacent areas. For my approach, I focused my thoughts around the concept of filtration. How can this be applied to a building form? For the 'pin-up' we were to present our main concept aside from the new massing design; diagrams representing our overall ideas.

http://marquezbcn2007.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 21, 2007. Compendio of the weekend. EL WEEKEND SALVA VIDAS! This past weekend was by far the best. not only did we go to see impressive Roman ruins but I also BOUGHT MY BOOOOOTS! During the afternoon we went (minus Billy [he didn't get lost this time], Felipe and Tom) 1). to the Old City Museum in which we saw the biggest underground Roman excavation in the world (ironically bigger than those in Italy). La Oveja Negra (The Black Sheep). The apartment if full of laundry (literally), that's...

http://marquezbcn2007.blogspot.com/2007/05/project-i-phase-iv.html

Monday, May 7, 2007. Project I- Phase IV. Today was definitely the most important day in the development of this overall project; after months, weeks, days of work, we presented our proposals to a representative of the city council. TOUGH! Our projects hadn't changed that much from our last pin-up; however, we were to develop even further our designs creating from floorplans to façades. Just to show how nice everybody looked ;). Saturday, February 17, 2007. Which means whatever basically. Back to not making sense when speaking, behaving in unusual ways when not getting enough sleep. this is our life, and HORRAY. We found it again after 10 days of happiness. Friends and family members, with all of our love, here's my documentation of a couple of these moments:. What would be of Spain without tapas, sangria, toros, flamenco, Picasso, Gaudi? What would Spain be without la Alhambra, without the world reknown morish architecture?

After showing good activity, a few weeks of rain have taken their toll, and activity at the entrance is now moderate. I saw a worker bee dumping an almost fully form larva.
