To celebrate, I decided to take Scout for a walk with one of my coworkers, Gloria, and her dog Shadow. As we were walking, I gave Gloria a little back story about Scout’s beginnings. My reflections on the Pavilion for Women. March 28, 2017. I have been a nurse for 31 years. I began my nursing career at St. Luke’s in 1986 on a med-surg floor and then transferred to the Transplant ICU for 10 years. I became part of the St. Luke’s Labor and Delivery in 1998. I really loved being an OB nurse and was disappointed when St. Luke’s chose to close their OB services. We are doing exactly what we set out to do, which is to deliver excellent high quality care for women and babies. March 21, 2017.
