Recreation and Skills Development Programme. The skills development programmes have various different elements. The major outcome desired from the programme is to encourage self awareness and entrepreneurial development. In 2003 a building on the premises was renovated and assigned as a 'safehouse' for emergency placements of children of up to 48 hours. Between January and July 2005, this building was used to accommodate girls from the Cape Town streets. We have successful foster care placements, Job creation - Sewing programme, effective lifeskills programme, 48- hour emergency placement of safety and other activities.
