UCSD VENOUS INCIDENCE STUDY. The Venous Incidence Study is supervised by three UCSD physicians who are professors in the School of Medicine. Principal Investigator: Michael H. Criqui MD, MPH. Dr Criqui is a Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine, and Medicine. He is a cardiovascular disease epidemiologist who has studied diseases of the blood vessels in the legs for the past 25 years. Co-Investigator: Warner Bundens MD, MS. Co-Investigator: Matthew A.
