Father's Day 2016 - My Captured Moment. This week's My Captured Moment is a few photo's from Father's Day, which was last week. We'd prepared presents the night before, so the kids were all super excited when they woke up and couldn't wait to 'help' Simon open his presents. We went to Harvester for breakfast, and although the food was okay, the children were not. Finding a balance as a working mum. Those of you who are a regular visitor here (thank you by the way), will know that I work part time in marketing. I currently work 28 hours a week. I work 9.30am - 3pm, from home, on a Monday and then usual hours in the office on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. For us it's the perfect balance. It ensures we have the money for 'nice things', such as holidays; satisfies my own need to maintain my career (and have some adult conversation! When I'm at work, I'm at work....

It's all about survival! I'm actually a natural worrier and perfectionist, but this doesn't doesn't work well with three children! When you have one or two children you can spend time selecting clothes to ensure they're all co-ordinated - with three it just takes too long!
