Mummy’s boy | Through my tinted glasses

Through my tinted glasses. What do you see? What happened last season…. My son will be turning 3 and a half next week, on Christmas Day in fact, and it has just hit me how much I enjoy his company at this age. For a long time I haven’t been able to say it at all, motherhood is not all fun, but at this point, I am truly enjoying being Mum to my boy. I don’t love him more now and less before, I just think our relationship has become better. Now I know, what’s unconditional love. From your own site. You are...

Through my tinted glasses. What do you see? Laquo; Long lost friends. That time of the month. Four years ago, I got to know an Indonesian girl, SP. Who just moved into my neighbourhood. She hailed from Central Java. She was very tall and slim, with big eyes and long perfect lashes. She never layed a finger on SP, but her really nasty words were painful enough to cause SP to die many times. Still, SP tried her best to be patient and kind toward the dragon lady. She was afterall just an old and sad...The r...
Macau | Through my tinted glasses

Through my tinted glasses. What do you see? Laquo; Closing a chapter. I found the city centre of Macau with its colonial buildings and old streets and shops most enticing. We spent one day on our own in Hong Kong, where we dined at the Peak for lunch at a restaurant with amazing views. For a non-gambler I find the city has very little to offer for me, but at least the family got to holiday together. Explore posts in the same categories:. You can subscribe via RSS 2.0. Through my tinted glasses. What do you see? Laquo; Playing with knives. Well well well…. My mother rang me yesterday afternoon to tell me my helper, Su, had to leave Singapore today because Immigration wouldn’t grant her an extension to train her successor till next week. When I got home, she was packing and we said our goodbyes. 8220;Sorry if I did anything wrong in the past,”. This morning, there wasn’t a single dry eye in the family. I went along to the airport to see her off. This entry was posted on...

Welcome to my memories. Wednesday, December 26, 2007 11:34:00 AM. Today’s Boxing Day as I started to type out this post. Man, this Christmas was a real busy one. I booked out on the 19. Due to Hari Raya. I was suppose to only book in back today afternoon but unfortunately some of us does not have the leave so we had to return on Friday and book out in the evening. I was wonderingwhy even bother wasting our time. Might as well give us Friday off! Shakes head at the competency level of some organization*.

Welcome to my memories. Tuesday, August 15, 2006 8:49:00 PM. Today was a tiring but good day. I had an interesting sex talk in the main lecture theatre in school today. The speaker was someone from the life skills department and what she said was interestingbut I wasn’t really that interested. Oh come on, I’ve been bombarded with this kind of information since I was in Secondary 1! Only 6 of us turned up for itamazing. Anyway Loretta and the 2 new teachers left shortly. And you guess what movie what that?

A bun in the oven: Week 36: Swimming, Driving, DVT
http://igotabunintheoven.blogspot.com/2010/06/week-36-swimming-driving-dvt.html
Sunday, 6 June 2010. Week 36: Swimming, Driving, DVT. I can't believe I have only been on maternity leave for a week. It feels longer than that probably because I have been so busy this week. First of all, we finally bought a car! I've also started to go to the local indoor pool just 3 minutes away from where I live. It is open to the public from around 3pm-6pm. Normally I go there to use the gym after work but now that I am free most afternoons, I decided I should go for a daily swim instead. Which is c...

http://igotabunintheoven.blogspot.com/2010/05/week-35-insomnia-maternity-leave-piles.html
Sunday, 30 May 2010. Week 35: Insomnia, maternity leave, piles. I let myself wallow in self-pity for a while because I think I needed to release all my pent-up frustrations. Walking and getting around is getting really difficult now that my belly is so heavy. While I used to be able to shop non-stop for a good few hours in town, I now need to find somewhere to sit down every so often because it hurts my back to stand for so long. No wonder I feel grumpy and miserable. Friday was my last day at work. ...

Sunday, 18 April 2010. Week 29: Vomiting, heartburn, hairy baby, Yong Tau Foo. This week wasn't exactly great. It started out okay though, until Wednesday lunchtime. I was working from home so I had a sandwich and a couple of chicken wings. Shortly after that I felt sharp pain in my gut so I knew it was a heartburn attack. . Being a nurse, R remained calm and went to get me a glass of water to rinse out my mouth. I kept telling him to go away as I didn't want him to see me throw up. But he said,...So an...

A bun in the oven: No regrets
http://igotabunintheoven.blogspot.com/2010/05/no-regrets.html
Monday, 24 May 2010. While I have always been certain I wanted children, I too got caught up in the "Now's not the time to get pregnant because I haven't done this yet! I wouldn't say the pregnancy was unplanned, but by the same token, I don't know if I should say it was planned? And somehow, though I don't know how, we even managed to see beyond the worries we initially had (finances, childcare, responsibilities, lifestyle adjustments), find a way to deal with them and look forward to a new journey ahead.

Easter, A Pagan Holiday. April 11, 2009 at 1:45 pm ( being a witch. It’s true, just like Christmas, Easter is a Pagan holiday taken straight from the pages of all those people that were supposed to be heathens. The two things that symbolize Easter for most people, the baby bunny and the baby chicken are Pagan signs of life following death each spring. Does that story sound familar? Yes, we should celebrate. We should just be truthfull about what we are celebrating. What is a Pagan? As uneducated as they ...
