Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Greetings from sunny Omaha. I wasn't sure when I would be able to say that again. It has been a bitter cold winter with too much snow. Even though the winter has been challenging with the cold and snow, we have had the excitement of Baby Hall to help us through it. Ultra sound could be done to identify the risk of Down syndrome. Friday, March 19, 2010. Today is March 19th (my birthday) and this morning we had an ultra sound to determine the gender of the baby. More important than the gender of the baby is the health of the baby. Erin and I were told that there is a list of 35 items the tech checks when doing an ultra sound. The baby was normal for all of these items. Praise God for that good news! There "it" was plain as day, and he wasn't bashful about showing "it". I hope that isn't a sign of things to come. Friday, December 11, 2009. I would venture to say that each of us remembers exactly what we were doing when we received life changing news. I recently received news that fits the category of life changing and I will forever remember that day and what I was doing. Standing there with tears in my eyes, I didn't know if my feelings were that of shock or excitement. Perhaps surprised is the better word to use. We will continue to post updates of the pregnancy. In approximately four weeks we will be moving to another home in Elkhorn, NE. In a matter of a week, we sold our current home and purchased another. We arrived at the ER and were in a room within minutes and after about 3 hours we left with nothing more than a good old fashioned black eye. I couldn't have been happier with all the other things they were considering. This was the first picture I could get. It was waiting in the urgent care as we were watching it swell up!

Saturday, December 21, 2013. The Ugly Sweater 5K! The whole freaking family ran a 5K together. Now here is the amazing part…that Jason ran without someone chasing him, that we all had fun and that the boys actually want to do it again! It was almost hot! So Jason and I found some awful sweatshirts and we put the boys in their Hershey Candylane sweatshirts and headed down to the National Harbor. Oh…I forgot to mention that we had some awesome mustaches to wear as well…this was encouraged!
