That's how this morning really started: pulling headphones out of my ears and hastily pausing the Lord of the Rings soundtrack that was accompanying my slow progression through To Kill a Mockingbird. I said hi back, in English, and you sat down next to me, army backpack to the side, legs sprawled. I sidled closer to you, close enough that our shoulders might have almost touched, as you pulled your notebook from your bag. I told you I'd misspelled egzamin. You said, laughing.

What camera do you use? I use a Canon 60D a 50mm 1.8 a 28mm 1.8 for all photo and video. Before September 2012, I used a Nikon D3000, 50mm 1.8, and 35-70mm for photos, and a Canon point and shoot for video. What do you edit your photos with? I use Adobe Photoshop CS5. Someone asked me this question a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to stop mulling it over. so I wrote about it. In a subway station in berlin with music from an electric guitar floating through the air and the rumble of the city beneath my feet. When I came home from a trip and my siblings screamed and hugged me so tight there was no breath left in me and the tears just came out of nowhere and spilled over as the crickets chirped their song. I try not to take what my 3 1/2 year old says too personally, especially when she is coming off of a week of steroid treatment. Her reason was not really reasonable, but she was hurt and this was her response. Didn’t Jesus say we must die to ourselves. For more of Him in our lives there needs to be a lot less of us. I need.
