“Y’all Come Back Now…” « Becoming Farmer Mark

https://becomingfarmermark.wordpress.com/2014/02/28/yall-come-back-now

From ball cap to farm hat, I'm heading west. 8220;Y’all Come Back Now”. By Becoming Farmer Mark. Before continuing with the preparations blogs, I’m taking us back to a knee slapping good time had here on the farm. On the side of the building, fitting in so many ways. The call was from my cousin Christine informing me that the plans her and I made, for her and her husband to visit me on the farm, had now included my sister, Melissa (Lissa), and her kids, my Godparents, and my parents. I even had time to a...

What’s Next? « Becoming Farmer Mark

From ball cap to farm hat, I'm heading west. By Becoming Farmer Mark. My plan then was to use the time I had at the farm during the month of November to conclude this blog because the workload decreased substantially, but then another set of tasks picked right up, as they do. Then it was the holidays with my family,. Followed by my dear family member, Pat, suddenly passing away from cancer. And well, here I am ready to finish what I started and fill y’all in on some rest of the season. So where was I?

From ball cap to farm hat, I'm heading west. By Becoming Farmer Mark. You know it’s a monumental blog when it’s entry title is the same as the blog itself. Well, here it goes. On October 31, 2014, I completed my two year apprenticeship here at Caretaker Farm. This is where I climb up on a soap box and dispense a whole lot of what I think from what I’ve done here in my little corner of the world. Since it is my blog and I’ve just completed something really cool, I reserve the right to do so. To Fern, than...

From ball cap to farm hat, I'm heading west. Newer posts →. Again, one of my objectives at the start of this blog was to be able to write an entry a week, but I have a hard time writing one a month! Well, here’s number two for August, so, wicked cool. Summertime on the farm has been as absolutely beautiful with a lot happening. First off, by now, you have read about the animal situations as well as my own personal transformations. Well the farm has been transforming before my eyes as well. Tom Hank&#8217...

Healing « Becoming Farmer Mark

https://becomingfarmermark.wordpress.com/2014/05/25/healing

From ball cap to farm hat, I'm heading west. By Becoming Farmer Mark. So I had to take a break from writing for a little while. There are some stories from last season I’d still love to share. My book is also at a stand still, but with the recap in this blog, I am hoping for some moving on to occur. But, after the first week of trying to ignore the pain while figuring creative body movements to not put any of my weight on it while climbing the apple trees in the orchard to prune or weeding the spinach in...

It's easy. By doing just a little extra, we can turn the ordinary into something extraordinary. In our classroom, we will try to be H. Espectful, and O. Click on this link.
