Ongoing ramblings, as i watch my bicycle wheel spin. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. Self Portrait Tues: Suffer Fest. Would you pay money to endure pain as long as you can? On this picture, it's hard to tell from this angle but we're actually going up a 12% grade hill for 1 mile. That's steep (for us cat 5 racers)! Why am i being passed? Why are my legs cramping? Did i really pay money for this? Was it worth the pain? The check is in the mail (for the next race). Posted by asianarnold1 at 3:37 PM. My wife, Gretch...

Ongoing ramblings, as i watch my bicycle wheel spin. Friday, September 01, 2006. Since my last race of the '06 season in july 30, I've been taking it easy on the riding, only riding 1-2 days a week and sometimes during lunch for only 30-50mi for the week (i try to get 100mi a week). August is a time for vacationing and familytimes. So, here are some video clips to keep things interesting on this bike blog. Pride comes before a fall. SORRY for the music). Our big race is in the end of july in Carson City NV. It will be difficult at 5000ft elevation. I just want to do better this year than last year. I'm in better condition and better equipment. Good luck to me. Until next time, keep riding. Posted by asianarnold1 at 2:39 PM. Uhmm maybe plan for it next year. View my complete profile.

Ongoing ramblings, as i watch my bicycle wheel spin. Wednesday, August 17, 2005. In two weeks, my little girl, Maya, will be 3 yrs old (4Sep). Hard to believe time went by so fast. It's true of what people say about your kids growing up so fast. I remember the day my wife and I looked at that pregnancy test stick in the bathroom, in our one bedroom 4-plex apartment downtown. We were flat broke, but extremely happy to have a child. More pics to come. Posted by asianarnold1 at 4:04 PM. July 30-31, 2005.

http://foursweetpeas.blogspot.com/2006/11/last-few-days-and-grateful-friday.html
Friday, November 17, 2006. The Last Few Days and Grateful Friday. You all might getting a little sick of my belly shots by now, I love them though, and since this baby will be coming soon I'm trying to get as many as possible. Ok, I forgot it was Friday almost 2 weeks in a row. So what am I grateful for this week? John's new job which he really likes. Watching the "Lost" series finally through Netflix. Jack getting so excited when we let him stay up a little later and watch "mommy and daddy tv" with us.
