Sunday, July 8, 2012. It will be my 8th time going to Korea. In two days, I fly out to this motherland of mine. Many of my friends actually ask me why I spend my money and vacation in Korea. My other friends take their vacation and invest their money in Europe. But, somehow, for some reason, I keep on gravitating toward Korea. This year, my two favourite people will not be able to greet me. Kun-E-mo, my eldest aunt, will not be there to be my "second mom away from home". The kind that come in a tin.

In a preface to Kierkegaard's Fear and Trembling, the writer mentions how Descartes did not go about declaring his doubts to the world, how he did not "make it obligatory for everyone to doubt." In fact "he let it be known that his method had significance only for him". Then what of fellowship? Carrying each other's burdens is essential. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Two men and a lady. I had a wonderful time today teaching, sharing, and eating. Time simply flies when i'm teaching my class these days. although we are supposed to be studying Tuesdays with Morrie, we often side track to in depth discussions just about anything and everything.
