The Whitson Family: Hey Boo Boo!
http://www.thewhitsonfamily.net/2013/08/hey-boo-boo.html
Monday, August 12, 2013. For the kids birthday gifts this year we wanted to do something different. Something besides buy toys they play with for a few weeks. This year, we decided to start a new tradition. A camping tradition! Doesn't that just sound like fun! Since we only stayed a couple of nights I wasn't interested in wrestling a tent up one day and down 2 days later. So we decided to rent this cozy little cabin. Isn't it the cutest thing you have ever seen? He would help her cast out the line and s...

The Whitson Family: December 2012
http://www.thewhitsonfamily.net/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 28, 2012. Insert Exhibit A: Christmas 2009. And Exhibit B: Christmas 2010. We thought if we threw her BFF on Santa's lap at the same time they would both think it was HILARIOUS. Total backfire. She refused in 2011, and 2012 wasnt any different. Little brother, however, he owned it. Check out the studmuffin-ness of Christmas 2012 (It could be that this Santa was a little less, ahem, scary? And as if sitting on his lap and hamming it up werent enough, Track requested. Pieces of my Heart.

The Whitson Family: April 2013
http://www.thewhitsonfamily.net/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 13, 2013. We ventured into the wild world of biddy ball last weekend, folks, and let me be the first to tell you - its hilarious! Chaos it was, but I wouldn't trade that first day of biddy ball for anything in the world. Amidst all the bobbleheads and mud pies, it was hands down one of my most "proud mom" days to date. She tells me everyday that she "plays t-ball" and she asks when she gets to go back and play again. Music to my ears! This girl makes me smile. Every single day. The Easter...

The Whitson Family: February 2013
http://www.thewhitsonfamily.net/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 5, 2013. You know what I remember the most about my childhood? Yes, you read correctly, I said dirt. Not just any dirt though. Specifically, the dirt you find on a softball field. It smells different. It feels different under your feet. And its certainly feels different on your shins and tail when your sliding into bases. I miss the smell of dirt. Is that weird? It all started like this. So when I see this. I can almost smell the dirt. I mean, look at that stance! 4 going on 13, the one...

The Whitson Family: May 2013
http://www.thewhitsonfamily.net/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 14, 2013. This One's For The Girls. Mary tied the knot a few weeks ago in one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever attended. She was stunning, glowing actually. You couldn't find a more beautiful bride if you tried! The Wedding Party in the Library. Don't know what I would do without her! Now, lets take a stroll down memory lane, shall we? My bachelorette party, 2006. My wedding, 2006. We've picked up an extra girl or 2 along the way! Wild Wings during our younger years :). My best frien...

The Whitson Family: The Day I Thought Would Never Come.....
http://www.thewhitsonfamily.net/2013/08/the-day-i-thought-would-never-come.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. The Day I Thought Would Never Come. And it honestly breaks my heart. Tomorrow, my baby girl starts Kindergarten. I swear, and I don't swear (Ok, I lie, I swear more then I should) but I swear it was yesterday that Easton was 7 days old. That sounds much more dramatic then 1 week, doesn't it? I cried. She cried. We were ALL frustrated. I prayed, "God, please let us hurry up and make it to Kindergarten, I can't take this! A few years ago I did a slide show for a family friends w...

The Whitson Family: Round 2
http://www.thewhitsonfamily.net/2013/07/round-2.html
Sunday, July 28, 2013. Although I never forgot how pleasant (or not) my first labor was, we decided that adding another little one to our family was just what we needed. 2 years ago today we welcomed Track into our lives and, needless to say, there hasn't been a dull moment since! This kid keeps us all on our toes with his curious, persistent, OCD, ADD personality and I wouldn't have it any other way. He has been the perfect fit to complete our family. See, don't we look more rested and happier this time?
