http://motheach.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Irish interior design, decor and home renovation blog updated weekly. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Waffles has been our cat since May and he has impressed all who have met him mightily in the seven months he's been living with us, judging by the presents he received. Cian and Babs knew that our tired tabby likes to spend a lot of his time on the sofa. Now he can snuggle up to the beautiful Mog cushion cover from one of my design heroes, Donna Wilson. GO THE WHOLE MOG: Waffles and his Donna Wilson cushion.

Mo theach: Buying 747
http://motheach.blogspot.com/2012/01/buying-747.html
Irish interior design, decor and home renovation blog updated weekly. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. I have a fascination with airplanes and get childishly excited when I spot a majestic Boeing 747 on the tarmac (sadly none fly into Dublin Airport at present, with the exception of the US Air Force One last year). Apart from the Concorde, no other airliner is quite as striking. I had the pleasure of being onboard a Virigin Atlantic 747 some years ago, but economy doesn't grant you a seat on the top deck.

I prefer to leave fashion blogging to those in the know, but am always keen to promote Irish design initiatives like the new Blind Tiger Collective. Store It's opening its doors this Saturday in Dublin city centre. RWAAR: The Blind Tiger Collective is catwalk cool. I heart the stag t-shirt. Mo theach: Home-owners with telly vision
http://motheach.blogspot.com/2012/01/home-owners-with-telly-vision.html
Irish interior design, decor and home renovation blog updated weekly. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Home-owners with telly vision. Sky Plus has been my enabler for the past three years as it cleverly records every home renovation programme I can get my hands on. I love the 'before and after' fixes provided by the likes of recent Ch4 offering The Renovation Game. Surprisingly good daytime TV) and RTÉ ratings winner About the House. Is still one of the best homes programmes on the telly after 11 years.

Mo theach: Spare room inspiration... even when damp attacks
http://motheach.blogspot.com/2012/03/spare-room-inspiration-even-when-damp.html
Irish interior design, decor and home renovation blog updated weekly. Friday, March 23, 2012. Spare room inspiration. even when damp attacks. When we moved into the house in 2008, I did notice a smidgen of damp in the back bedroom. "Must get around to doing something about that," we muttered, adding it to a list of urgent works that included a new path, front door and a large-scale excavation of the back garden make part of it level with the ground floor of the house. Treating the damp, which may involve...

Said Sarah: Nadine & Toby's DIY Wedding
http://said-sarah.blogspot.com/2013/08/nadine-tobys-diy-wedding.html
Saturday, 21 September 2013. Nadine and Tobys DIY Wedding. It's the kind of wedding you would expect to see on the glossy pages of a magazine, every minuscule detail considered and executed beautifully. But this creative couple, refused to fork out the fortunes so many others do on their big day and instead, they opted for a DIY wedding and hand made everything, from the food, to the cake toppers - with a fair bit of help from their friends and family. 700 jars with candles lines the room! I had a scoop ...

Mo theach: Come fly with me: Retro Aer Lingus travel posters

Irish interior design, decor and home renovation blog updated weekly. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Come fly with me: Retro Aer Lingus travel posters. Vintage travel posters depict a time when air fares were beyond the means of ordinary people, and a trip to Dublin Airport was a holiday in itself (I hear it was a popular spot for a date back in the day! Judging by the number of people who land on a post I did about the two Aer Lingus Boeing 747s. At an exhibition a year or two ago at the National Museum ...

Mo theach: Inside artist Laura de Búrca's Dublin studio
http://motheach.blogspot.com/2012/04/inside-artist-laura-de-burcas-dublin.html
Irish interior design, decor and home renovation blog updated weekly. Sunday, April 15, 2012. Inside artist Laura de Búrca's Dublin studio. Dublin artist Laura de Búrca's work is mesmerising and evocative. I love her use of colour, her attention to detail and the way she can capture a precious moment of shifting light. Three of her pieces hang on my walls. On Laura's desk (formerly owned by an architect and picked up for a song on a recycling website), my eye was instantly drawn by a series of tropical b...
