Four Flowers: French Door Mirror
http://tinkermedic.blogspot.com/2010/01/french-door-mirror.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. This is my submission for the. I curb-shopped a set of french doors from my neighborhood. They weighed 40 pounds each! I'm sure I looked pretty amusing and slightly crazy cramming these puppies into the back of my VW Beetle. I was so triumphant! I got them home and stood them up in my garage and.stared at them. Um? I knew I wanted to do something with them but had no idea what. SO, there they sat for a couple months until one day it just hit me! A photographer I am not. I wanted ...

My Painted Porch - The Blog...love, family, and all things inspiring HOME.: childhood summers
http://mypaintedporch.blogspot.com/2010/07/childhood-summers.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Ahhhto be a kid! My grandparents have both passed on since those times, God rest their souls. I miss them and still shed a tear from time to time in recalling them and the wonderful days of summer as a kid. I wonder if they realize what a tremendous legacy of a truly amazing childhood, they left each and every one of their grandchildren with, to last us a lifetime. My mom doesn't own a farm, so unfortunately, my children will never know such memories of summer! A LITTLE ABOUT ME.

Monday, November 14, 2011. All things girly-girl cont'd - part quatre. Little Project No. 6.a memory board. With all that Lizzy has come to experience and know in her short 4 years of life thus far, there are moments when you have a piece of memorabilia that you get to bring home, but which often ends up in the bill pile, or stowed away in a cabinet. So I thought filling that need, a memory board would be perfect for her room, and it is! So before she disposed of it, I asked her if I could take it for $5.

Tuesday, November 8, 2011. All things girly-girl - part trois. Little Project No. 4.the rack. Those bags were so well loved and used to no end.not to mention, looked great displayed in his room! Altho there could be no bag big enough to house his endless collection of Lego, they did hold. The same for Eliza would be a must! Not really wanting a shaker peg board for her room tho and with something more feminine in mind, this was the chosen method. I took one of our Happily Ever After signs. Stay tuned for...

Tuesday, October 25, 2011. I know, I know, I know! In my quest to take time to breathe and take in all that’s in my life and that of my family’s, I’ve managed to streamline my daily routine and made the effort to cut my 12-16 hr workdays to 8.okay, 10. Unfortunately, I’ve not been able to streamline all, and that has meant that something as always has to suffer.and that would be my blog. Did I mention "fun"? BEFORE' No. 1. You get what you get and you either find a way to embellish it, order online, or w...

Monday, April 4, 2011. The world according to Murphy. How complete is a family without a furry member? We have one. His name is Murphy, as in “Jeepers H. Murphy”. Murphy is a 3 yr old, 90 pound golden retriever. Need I say more? But, when you have a dog that responds to the commands of a 4 yr old family member, with the same obedience and respect paid to the adults of the family, you know he’s a good dog. Could Lizzy ever attempt to walk him? Most definitely, not yet! It’s hard to say really, who i...

Thursday, February 24, 2011. It’s been awhile since my last blog post, and as always, I have good reason.of course! There’s a real possibility of relocation in our future. Hopefully, no matter where we go, I will still be able to do this job of mine that so fulfills my need to create and express. Of course the studio is up there, but also on that floor are two tiny bedrooms, a bathroom with an old claw foot tub, and a hallway. I recently tackled all of the above, with the exception of the studio. Far...
