The Blog of Dre. Monday, July 6, 2009. The continuing adventures of garden plants. Tomatoes, zucchinis and lettuce, oh my! Things look like they are coming along nicely! What was that big herby pot thats flowering? What kind of camera do you use? July 7, 2009 at 11:07 PM. Yeah, that is some sweet salad basil from Richters seeds, some of the plants have purple in them and some dont. The purple ones are very similar to Thai basil, have an anise-like scent. The camera that I use is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel.

Most standard stuff such as steel stud walls, electrical, plumbing, drywall, pot lights, trim work and painting, simple but with quality in mind. Here are some examples of boxes made entirely out of wood scraps collected from students and craftsman's waste over the last while. This first box was made of a single piece of Poplar milled into the 4 sides that are dovetailed together. The Lid was one piece of Hard Maple resawn and book-matched. Violet Queen cauliflower starting to bolt (the florets are starting to spread out and the flowers will open soon) - will harvest this today so that new florets can grow. Florets have yet to form on this broccoli plant. Violet Queen cauliflower has been cut! Strawberry plant sending out stolons ('runners'). Sweet potato (planted a store bought sweet potato).
