Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Tuesday 6/12/2012 - Recovery Day 5. Crazy tired today. Slept really well last night, then again most of the morning, then some more late this afternoon. Pain meds still working, but I took a dose late and woke up with some ear pain. Took the meds and was feeling better within 30 minutes. Thursday, June 14, 2012. Thursday 6/14/2012 - Recovery Day 7. Slept very poorly last night – the first time since surgery that I had any issues sleeping. Not sure what to make of it - I was tired, but had a hard time falling asleep, then when I did, would wake up and repeat the process. After three nights of sleeping terribly (Thursday and Friday referenced in the previous posts, then again on Saturday), I finally started falling asleep more quickly again. Not sure what that was all about - maybe "coming off" the pain med was messing me up. I stopped taking the pain med on Saturday 6/16/2012, a week and two days after surgery.
