Saturday, February 12, 2011. Wet Babies and Smart Boys. I turn back around and there is Brooke, back in the bathtub, clothes and all with a grin on her face. I guess I got her out too soon! Ben does almost as well on the reading, but loves math. He loves subtraction and addition, the harder the better (as long as it's under 20). Saturday, January 29, 2011. Universal Studios, FL Jan 2011. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I was so impressed with the detail, it was incredible. Anyone need a ticket on Hogwarts Express? The streets are so well-done with the shop fronts that you actually feel like you are in Hogsmeade. The Butterbeer was yummy! It tasted a lot like cream-soda. Friday, April 6, 2012. Hilton Head, SC. We enjoyed a great Spring Break road trip to Hilton Head Island. The weather was perfect, the sand was soft, the trees were green. It was a great week! The drive wasn't too bad with 3 kids in the back seat. It took about 11 hours, but the drive was one of the prettiest I have seen! We took a wrong turn and ended up missing the sunrise, but is was a beautiful morning, and the exercise was welcome after sitting in the car for a day. We played A LOT of Mini Golf!

Thursday, June 2, 2011. Brooke is soaking up knowledge like a sponge, and could be confused with a parrot at times with the way she copies what she hears. As you can see she knows her animal noises, but she is also talking. Her favorite phrases include "This way" and "Here you go" "nigh-night dada" "mama shoe" the famous "No," "Mine" and "more" are her staples. She is so much fun, I am a smitten mama. With 3 little kids- it definitely feels like a litter! Tuesday, August 30, 2011. 1st Days of School. William and Sophia started Kindergarten this week. They are so excited to be "big kids" and go to elementary school. This school offers a French Immersion program, so half of their day will be in French. I'm trying to learn some French too, so I won't be the only won't who doesn't speak French! Eva also started preschool this week. We love Ms. Amy! Me: Yep, what do you think I should do while you are gone.
