Qu’est Ce Qu’on Va Manger? By Valma V. Conant Metoyer. As some of you already know, 2012 brought the release of a project near and dear to my heart: the cookbook, Qu’est Ce Qu’on Va Manger? What are we going to eat? And then, in her later years, we were blessed to have her living with us for a time. Times have changed a lot since those days, but for us, that’s just how it was with family they were there for you and you were there for them. http://kieraanne.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 23, 2011. Natchitoches, LA. Part Two. Staircase brought over from France in 1856. The second day in Natchitoches we spent in town wandering up and down the shops on Front Street. They had some cool stuff including the oldest business in Louisiana the Kaffie Frederick General Mercantile. Me waiting across the street while Patrick talked to the Carriage lady. We had lunch as Lasyone's Meat Pie Restauran. Truvy's (Lizzy's) actual "salon;" an enclosed carport. Truvy's from Steel Magnolias.
