The Lager Diaries

Wednesday, 23 July 2008. Left La Paz feeling slightly worse for wear after some messy nights in Club 36, so got on a bust through Paraguay to Iguazu. Saw the falls, after the horriffic bus journey, this time shorter, only 80 hours, but through Paraguay so equally bad! Thursday, 10 July 2008. The 3 and a half day bus journey turned into a 4 an a halfday one, making us even more desperate to go out when we got to Cusco! Sunday, 29 June 2008. The Lager Diaries: March 2008

http://www.thelagerdiaries.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 19 March 2008. Mike ended up pissing in our room that night, against the door and consequently on some of Henry´s stuff. Hung over trekking not fun, neither are stupid amounts of mosquito bites and sunburn. Machu Picchu is spectacular, and even though we had managed only 6 hours sleep on the previous 2 nights we still made it out on St. Patrick´s day! Thursday, 13 March 2008. Now in Peru i miss Bolivian prices (four course healthy meal for a pound! Wednesday, 5 March 2008. We were just at the ...

Sunday, 29 June 2008. Been way to long since i have updated this, and i am now in Bogota about to start a 84 hour bus ride to Cusco! We did the ciudad perdida trek which was amazing, and it included, visiting a cocaine factory, killing the deadliest snake in Columbian jungle, seeing a marijuana plantation, crossing rivers loads and just generally getting fucking knackered trekking! The Lager Diaries: May 2008

http://www.thelagerdiaries.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Monday, 26 May 2008. In Panama City now, which is so different from every other central american capital! Had my first curry since Bolivia the night before last, which was an event, even if it was an english priced event. Nightlife here is really good, but also expensive, so i had a night of sober clubbing last night, as i organised the prelash really badly. A good outting for my new camera though. Have just looked into getting accommodation for Nottingham aswell, unfortunately i think i may have mis...

Silly Shaved Head: My travels through India. Thursday, May 1, 2008. Ben left on the 17th as scheduled. It was an emotional goodbye, and it was obvious after he left that we did not want to dwell on his absence, and to let it ruin the next few days. it was, nevertheless, a devastating blow to group. As we headed for Palitana. And so here i am, sheltering out of the midday heat, waiting to leave on the 19 hour sleeper to delhi at 4. fun fun. MUCH love Liz xxxx. May 1, 2008 at 11:46 PM. Silly Shaved Head: My travels through India. Sunday, March 23, 2008. Actually had a pretty wicked meal at a local canteen for lunch but got totally ripped off (meal cost 0.25 of your British pounds)! It is good to see backpackers going everywhere. I once heard an ignorance yank tell his fellow traveller on a train to Rishikesh that there was nothing to see in the South. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you and the rest of your gang soon - do let me know so I can get the beers in! View my complete profile.
