The Kolter Family

Clark W. Griswold (er.Kolter). Sells a few thousand permits each year in Arizona for those who refuse to go the way of the Home Depot parking lot. You can cut up to a 10 foot tree, within certain cutting zones (northeast corner of the state) in the White Mountains, for $15. It is only a 5-hour drive (one way) from where we live. Move over Clark W Griswold, Jr! Kolter family tradition reinstated (in 2011). Below are some pictures of our Home Depot trees this year.OK they are not so bad. Yeah," I replied.

The Kolter Family: September 2010

http://www.thekolterfamily.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

My Favorite Kid Sayings.August Edition. I love the funny things my kids say.so much so that I have decided to post all the interesting, funny, adorable things they say (that I always say I should write down, but don't) into our blog (assuming I will remember to do so each month). Hallie to me about her baby sister."Dad, Brylie is growin' up too fast isn't she? She's turnin' into such a little stinker (chuckle, chuckle)! Kaden"Dad, after Brylie goes to bed can I have a B.O.C.C.R? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Kolter Family: Funny stuff in October

http://www.thekolterfamily.blogspot.com/2010/10/funny-stuff-in-october.html

Funny stuff in October. More great laughs from our kids this month. At bedtime tonight (10/19/10), after a nice game of "blankie stealing," as I tucked Hallie into bed I said, "Goodnight, I love you princess! Hallie responded, "I love you too daddy.p.s.I'm not tired.". After dinner (10/26/10), Brylie went to the refrigerator and began saying "Bubba joos peez.bubba joos peez! Referred to pop as bubble juice.what a smart little stinker! Very cool, guys! You must be so proud, Nat and Trav!

The Kolter Family: September 2008

http://www.thekolterfamily.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

It seems that Arizona has its share of interesting critters, many of which we have already had many firsthand experiences with in a short amount of time.  No bones about it.we have seen first hand: scorpions, coyotes, javelina (aka.Arizona wild hog), tarantulas, snakes, and some rather large beetle-like insects whose size could best be described in comparison to a half dollar coin. Other incidents would include (but are not limited to) the following:. 1 Gila monster outside classroom door. Here in Tucson...

Time flies by.so do the Monsoons. I am amazed at how quickly nearly a month has disappeared since I last wrote.  Since late July, Natalie, the kids, and I have reunited, flown to Tucson, moved, unpacked, found a scorpion in a moving box (in the house), found a lizard in our bedroom closet, started Hallie's school year at Kindergarten, started my school year, visited 4 churches, started Kaden. 160;:)  . The Razavi Family: December 2011

http://therazavifamily.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 26, 2011. We really enjoyed our Christmas Eve together! It was 40 degrees outside and the sun was shining, so we got to play outside for quite awhile. We went over to the sledding hill at our neighborhood park and had a ball. That evening we had a nice dinner together, talked about the Christmas story, opened some presents and enjoyed hours of lego building fun. This is how every run ended.with a little person laying in the snow after a big (purposeful) crash. Posted by The Razavi's.

For to us a child is born,. To us a son is given,. And the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,. Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace. There will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne. And over his kingdom,.

The Razavi Family: March 2012

http://therazavifamily.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 16, 2012. When I was nearly 7 years old, the MUCH anticipated call came from the hospital that my baby sister was born. Like any overjoyed new sister would do, I ran to my closet to find the perfect outfit for the occasion (I had to teach her right out of the box how to be fashion forward, right? Well, I put on my very favorite sweater vest and headed to the hospital with my brother and Dad to meet her. She was beautiful, and tiny, and perfect.and I absolutely adored her. Sonny made himself...

The Razavi Family: October 2011

http://therazavifamily.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Saturday, October 29, 2011. A very big part of Razavi day to day life is 'the bike'. We take at least one biking adventure every day. Sonny whips around on his bike like it's an extension of his little body. Here is a picture of a really cool tree Sonny and I found on one of our rides. When he saw it, he said, "Mommy, it looks like God's hand! He climbed right up into the tree and asked to have his bike with him. I think this may be the first time he's ever willingly set himself up for a photo op. We too...

Saturday, July 23, 2011. Isaiah and Colton were feeling the music. Here they are taking over the dance floor. Posted by The Razavi's. A Piece Of Heaven. Our little man looking very dapper. He made an exception on his strict "no buttons or snaps" rule just for this occasion, which made this Mama very happy (I think I should send this picture to Gymboree for their next magazine). This is a view of the gorgeous veranda on the back side of the castle like venue. More golf course and view. Lisa and I enjoying...

The Razavi Family: March 2011

http://therazavifamily.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 23, 2011. At the beginning of March, our little family took a trip to Indiana/Ohio for a conference and some time with family. We were deeply blessed by everything we got to do! Here are some pictures of our adventure. Isaiah racing cars down "the board" (Ramin also used it when he was little) with Opi, his great grandpa. Don't they have beautiful eyes? Me and my precious jewel of a Gram. Me and my sweet Pop. Here he is in his Indy 500 race car. Isaiah and "Bumble Bee" transformer. This ...

The Razavi Family: February 2011

http://therazavifamily.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 25, 2011. Ramin and Isaiah in front of one of the racing Shelby Cobras. The boys and a Shelby Cobra Daytona Coup (the official racing coup in Larry Miller's collection was in Salt Lake City the day we went to the museum. We'll have to see it another time). In all of its glory. My favorite-An AC Shelby Roadster. They had to put a Ferrari in the museum just to capture forever how the Cobra team was able to forfeit completely Enzo Ferrari's dreams of total racing dominance.

The Razavi Family: Isaiah Graduates!

http://therazavifamily.blogspot.com/2012/07/isaiah-graduates.html

Tuesday, July 3, 2012. It's been a WHILE since I've posted anything on our family blog. I have to say that the social media world and the instant-ness of Instagram have made it easy to forget about this space. I don't want to forsake it, though. This blog and I have been friends for a long time. Isaiah and his class getting ready to sing "Peace Train.". Our sweet boy and his good buddy, Sam. What a big boy! A little Mama Love. Isaiah and his wonderful teacher, Terri. Posted by The Razavi's.

This is a design choice that has been applauded by many â but invoked criticism from some. A granite floor could really have taken the decor in a totally different direction. Its amazing colors could certainly have been utilized in an effective manner. Something like the cold hard stone giallo ornamental granite. Or river white granite. Would have been a great option. the white stone would have created a great contrast with the old reclaimed materials used (Like these awesome reclaimed wood desks!
